This Privacy Policy applies to FirearmsDirectory.com, accounts, Listings, advertising, support, verification, communications, and related online services. It does not control independent websites or businesses linked from the directory.

2. Information collected

• Account and contact information, including name, business, email, telephone number, and login data;
• Listing content, locations, service areas, credentials, photographs, and verification documents;
• Subscription, transaction, invoice, and payment-status information; payment-card details are generally processed by Stripe or another payment provider;
• Reviews, reports, support requests, correspondence, and preferences;
• Device, browser, IP address, cookie, usage, referral, approximate-location, and security information; and
• Information from public records, business websites, data providers, users, and partners.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to operate and improve the directory; create, display, rank, verify, and manage Listings; process payments; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; communicate about accounts and services; measure advertising; personalize experiences; comply with law; and establish or defend legal rights.

4. Public information

Business Listings, public profiles, reviews, responses, event details, photographs, and related submissions may be visible worldwide, indexed by search engines, shared through directory features, and retained in caches. Do not submit private information to a public field.

5. Disclosures

Information may be disclosed to hosting, analytics, email, security, customer-support, verification, payment, advertising, and other service providers; to business owners when users contact or review them; during a merger, financing, sale, or reorganization; with consent; or when reasonably necessary for law, safety, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

6. Targeted advertising and sale or sharing

Depending on the technologies used, disclosure of identifiers and online activity to advertising or analytics partners may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain state laws. Eligible residents may opt out through the privacy-choice mechanism described on the website or by contacting support. Firearms Directory should configure its cookie platform to honor applicable Global Privacy Control signals.

10. Requests and identity verification

Requests may be submitted to support@firearmsdirectory.com. Firearms Directory may verify identity and authority before responding. Authorized agents may be required to provide signed permission and the consumer may be asked to confirm identity directly. Some information may be exempt or retained where legally permitted.

11. Children

The services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. Firearms Directory does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the services.

12. Changes and contact
